St. John’s Gate is the
Headquarters and Museum of the British Order of St. John. Built in 1504
and
steeped in history, it was the entrance to the English Headquarters of
the Crusading Knights Hospitaller, whose Grand Priory in Clerkenwell
existed from 1140 until Henry VIII’s reign.
A grade I Listed Building, St
John’s Gate offers you a unique setting for your special day, from the
central room over its Tudor arch to the 1902 panelled room decorated
with the shields of the former Priors of the Order.

One of London’s best kept secrets, Greenwich Yacht Club is just
halfway between the Millennium Dome and the Thames Barrier.
Greenwich Yacht Club is a prestigious party venue with
spectacular river views in a tranquil waterfront setting – ideal for
Wedding Receptions and special occasion celebrations. Up to 100 guests
can be seated for a formal dinner, or we can accommodate up to 200
guests in a more informal gathering. Guests can be greeted with a
glass of champagne on deck or in the Bar/Reception Room, and then move
into the River Room for dining and dancing. A marquee can even be
erected on deck to provide an extra al fresco option.
At night the river is an exciting and romantic place to be – when your
guests have networked till they’re on their knees at the bar, and
danced till they drop in the River Room, they can take a stroll along
the deck and see the local illuminated landmarks.
We can tailor your needs – you might want a barbeque with a marquee on
deck, maybe a hogroast, perhaps canapés or a simply sumptuous banquet.
